I’m a runner… going on four decades. This path along the Fox River Trail in Green Bay, Wisconsin, is my daily route. Running remains my best means to contemplate and reflect on life. It helps stimulate creativity providing fuel for my writing. Problems and stress gradually seem to shrink as I place one foot in front of the other - soaking in the sky, the foliage, the sounds of the river, and the greetings from others who approach. Running is an amazing experience!

This is my first book that will be released on August 7, 2009, but is available for preorder on Amazon.com or Target.com.
In 2004, I retired from my thirty year career at IBM. That’s when I began to write Run At Destruction: A True Fatal Love Triangle. It focuses on our close-knit Green Bay running group and the terrible tragedies that occurred in 1984. Sean Ryan, a race director for many of the runs up in Brown and Door County placed the following in his weekly training newsletters:
RUNNER AUTHORS SUSPENSEFUL TRUE STORY
In the 1970′s, Lynda and Jim Drews helped launch Green Bay’s running movement. Lynda has written a narrative non-fiction book about actual events which took place within their running group during the 1980′s. As runners, we feel a sense of familial trust towards those who we train with. Lynda’s book, Run at Destruction: A True Fatal Love Triangle, shows what happens when this trust is violated. Within the confines of Green Bay’s supportive running community, one person becomes a victim, one is the accused and another serves as the motive.
